Rising oil prices are causing problems for consumers around the world, while sending a message of happiness to oil-producing countries.
The African Energy Chamber told VOA that some African oil-producing countries will certainly see significant increases in government revenues, as the United States has imposed a ban on Russian oil imports since 2008. Prices have reached their highest levels.
Werner Ayokegba, senior vice-president of the Johannesburg-based African Energy Chamber, said government revenues in Nigeria, Angola, Libya, South Sudan, Gabon, Congo and Ghana would rise sharply. جوہانسبرگ میں قائم افریقی توانائی چیمبر کے سینئیر نائب صدر ورنر آیوکیگبا کا کہنا ہے کہ نائیجیریا، انگولا ، لیبیا، جنوبی سوڈان ، گیبون ، کانگو اور گھانا کے حکومتی آمدنی میں حد درجہ اضافہ ہو گا۔تاہم ،ان کا کہنا تھا کہ باوجودیکہ ان افریقی معیشتوں کو یہ دم بھر کےلیے معاشی سہارا دے گا ،لیکن بر اعظم کے زیادہ تر ملک جو تیل کی کشید کردہ مصنوعات کی درآمد پر بہت زیادہ انحصار کرتے ہیں ،ان کے اخراجات میں بیش بہا اضافہ ہو جائے گا۔

نائیجیریا ،افریقہ میں تیل پیدا کرنے والا سب سے بڑا ملک ہے ور وہ بر اعظم میں سب سے زیادہ خام تیل بر آمد کرتا ہے۔
اسٹیسٹا کے سن دوہزر بیس کے اعداد وشمار کے مطابق ، نائیجیریا ،افریقہ میں تیل برآمد کرنے والے ملکوں میں سب سے آگے تھا۔اور اس سال میں اس کی روزانہ برآمد تقریباًپانچ اعشاریہ چار ملین تھی۔
اسی اثنا میں افریقی توانائی چیمبر کے آیوکگبا کہتے ہیں کہ عالمی سطح پر تیل کی قیمتیں بڑھ جانے کے باعث بہت سے افریقی ملک ممکنہ طور پر تیل اور گیس کے نئے ذخائر تلاش کریں گے۔ انہوں نے وائس آف امریکہ کو بتا یا کہ افریقی ساحل پر مزید تیل اور گیس کے حصول کے لیے کھدائی جاری ہے،مثال کے طور پر خلیج گنی میں ۔
